Open positions include:
Chef Instructors– teach adults, kids, and teens how to cook healthy, low-cost foods using the lesson plans and recipes for each class provided in the Cooking Matters curricula. Click here for a description of the chef instructor’s responsbilities.
Nutrition Educators- teach adults, kids, and teens how to make healthy choices using the lesson plans for provided in the Cooking Matters curricula. Click here for a description of the nutrition instructor’s responsibilities.
Class Assistants- help instructors and facilitators with classroom set-up, food preparation, food shopping, class activities and clean up. Click here for a description of the class assistant’s job description.
Photojournalist– help take photos during cooking classes, use a flip-cam to make videos of the classes, assist with the OFL Omaha Blog, and make a Cooking Matters volunteer video. This is an fun opportunity to be creative!
